Personal Statement

I am a 6'-5" lineman from Bangor PA, originally from The Netherlands. My senior year will be my 3rd year as a varsity starter. Sports are a major factor in my life, I started playing soccer in The Netherland at the age of 4, converted to rugby at the age of 9.  Our family moved to the USA in 2004, where I again played soccer, and other sports. In 2006 I decided to play football.
I have a 3.8 GPA and believe class work and sports go hand in hand. In college I want to study at a college/university with a acknowledged reputation in the field of engineering. I believe my best fit would be at the DI or DII level, although I would definitely consider high academic DIII oportunities.

My sporting strong points are:
Height
Wingspan
Speed (of the line)
Strength
No excess weight.
Never give up.
My goal s for the upcoming season is to reduce my 40 yard sprint by a minimum of 0.1 seconds and bench 300#.
I am at present applying for US citizenship.
