Personal Statement
My name is Dalton Kucher and I am a member of the Bethlehem Catholic Football team. I am 6’3”, 265-pound offensive lineman/defensive lineman. Freshman year was my first experience ever playing football, since that very first practice - I fell in love with the game!
As a Junior, I was the Varsity Starter for Center position. As a Sophomore & Freshman, I played Tackle. This allowed me to learn a lot about playing the different positions on the offensive line and the different skill sets required for each.
This past season, we made it to the district semifinals, our offense rushed for 2,232 yards and got a total of 30 touchdowns for 5.1 yards per carry for the season.
I’ve worked hard each off season, getting serious in the weight room, to get bigger and stronger, gaining 15 pounds every off season.
My short term goals are to gain body mass, build muscle, understand the game at a higher level, and become a dominant offensive lineman. My long term goals are to play on a Collegiate level team that has the same values and core beliefs as I do - to give it my all, never give up, and always do better.
I am a leader to my peers, as I was elected to my team’s leadership council and I always make sure to help my teammates whenever possible. I work hard in the classroom taking honors classes, maintaining a 3.2 cumulative GPA, 1200 SAT score, and perfect attendance. Outside of school and football, I work part-time at a trampoline park, where I interact with customers and enable them to enjoy their experience. I particularly enjoy working with the children and being a role model for them.
I am coachable, respectable, always looking for feedback and ways to improve. I look forward to the opportunity to taking my football career to the next level.
