Personal Statement
I am very thankful for all of my awesome coaches who have taught me so much more than football, which isn’t my only interest. I work hard to keep a 3.2/4.0 GPA and make honor roll most quarters even when I was still a 3 sport athlete. I have an 1140 SAT, and I plan to take the ACTs in October which will complete my testing. I was a Junior Township Council Member last year and learned about town management and would like to study business in college and combine it with mechanics. I like to work with my hands, and enjoy working on my truck along with building servers and soldering electronic boards at my dad's office. God and family are very important to me. Volunteering at the youth center as a basketball referee is something fun I like to do in the off season; it's fun to be on the court after playing for so many years. I would make a great addition to a college football team because I work hard for my team and will play any position needed. When I was 13 years old, I played tight end for a few years. It was a blast catching the ball as a TE. The only thing missing was the ability to use my size. I wanted to be as physical as possible and play harder. So, I moved to Bethlehem Catholic High School after my freshman year. There were limits to being physical and playing hard when I was a D-pole in lax and center in basketball. But, at Bethlehem Catholic, a whole new level of football competition and dedication began. On the football field, blocking defenders so that my running back can glide into the end zone is what I was made for at 6’8” and 315 pounds and 17 years old. I'm a coachable, team player who works hard, and I can't wait to share this with my next team.
