Personal Statement
My name is Chris Wuestner and I'm an Army brat. I have lived all over the world to include Alaska. While in Alaska, my Dad introduced me to football. Although I played on a state champion soccer team at the time, I fell in love with football and have been playing ever since. I'm 6'2'', weigh 197 pounds and run a mid to upper 4.4 40 yard dash. My NIKE SPARQ rating is 91.25. I ran an electric timed 4.59 40 and had a 4.22 pro agility. I'm also ambidextrous. I write right-handed and throw left-handed. I injured my growth plate on my left pelvic bone during the 1st quarter of the second game last season. I only played about a game and a half during my entire Junior year. My biggest accomplishment of my sophomore season was making the 2nd Team All-Sentinel (area) Team as a WR here in Central Pennsylvania. We run the Wing-T, so I was happy to be recognized for what I did on the field in a run-oriented offense. What I bring to the team is character, both on and off the field. I have a superb work ethic, go 110% all the time and pay attention to the details, like precision routes, having soft hands and blocking. I believe blocking is a lost art. My coach and teammates know they can always count on me to make a play. I have progressed greatly from last year. I have added over 16lbs of muscle. I have dropped my 40 times from the 4.6 range to the 4.4s. But most important is that I'm a good person and student. I enjoy helping my teammates get better as well as supporting them as best I can. When it comes down to playing college football, the location of the school does not matter to me. My goal is to play at the highest level of competition and get onto the field as soon as I can. I love competition and know nothing will be handed to me. I know I must perform on the field and in the classroom. I have not decided on a major. However, I do have an interest in business and possibly a minor in the German. I look forward to hearing from you this fall and showing you how much I have improved as a player with my highlight film from this year.
