Personal Statement
My name Sam Shaffer and I am entering my Senior Season at Connellsville High school. I am the starting center and defensive tackle for the team. I was named the 2nd team All-Conference Center at the 5-A level. It is my hope to have the opportunity to continue both my academic and athletic careers at the college level and study sports management.
Football has always been a passion of mine. My dad was the first in our family to go to college and he played Division 1. With his coaching and guidance, I hope to follow in his footsteps. I will be an excellent addition to not only the football team but any institution as a whole. I am a versatile, hard working player who can play any position along both offensive and defensive lines. I also can handle any long-snapping duties. I work hard both on and off the field with my sights set on a bright future. Given the opportunity, I will make any program better and look forward to this exciting process. Thank you in advance for your consideration and I look forward to speaking to you.
