Paul Branagan '12 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,
I am a dedicated player who leaves it all on the field on each and every play.  I am passionate about my sport and demonstrate my passion by never missing a workout or a chance to hit the weight room.  I have been a 2 way starter on my team for the past 3 years.  I have played multiple positions on the OL and DL and also cover kick-offs.  This year I was a unamimous selection for 1st Team All-Conference for Offensive Guard.  I was also selected to the 2nd Team All-Conference for my play on the DL.  My team also elected me as one of the Team Captains in honor of my leadership to the team.

I am also a dedicated student.  My GPA this year is 4.32.  My cumulative GPA is 3.82.  I am taking AP classes as well as a college Calculus course.  My goal is to major in Physics with a focus on Astronomy.  My 2nd potential career choice is Actuarial Sciences (Math and Stats).  I would like to attend a strong academically focused college.  My first preference would be to attend a college close to home as I lost my mother to cancer a few years ago and am very close to my dad as a result.  I plan to file for financial aid as my dad has been self-employed for several years since being laid off due to the economic downturn.

My goal is to play hard and contribute to the success of a college football team while also pursuing my intended career in physics or actuarial sciences.  It is my dream to play college football and I can guarantee that you will never have to question my committment to the success of my team.
