Austin Hartman '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 200 lb. running back/line backer at Cocalico High School. We compete in the very competitive Lancaster/Lebanon league. My senior year is now over. We battled many injuries, including one to myself (ankle) which forced me to miss (2 1/2) games. The team & I hung tough and finished strong to end up 3rd. in our league and made the District 3 AAA playoffs. After three playoff wins we advanced to the District championship game at Hershey, Pa. (Dec. 3, 2010) which we lost 29-14 to Bishop McDevitt. Individually I ended the season with 1,943 yards and 28 TD. My three year totals were,(5,116) career yards on 699 carries (7.3) and (57 touchdowns), all school records. I rank 2nd. all time in the Lancaster/Lebanon League. I have a strong desire to play at the next level and to continue my education. A university with a strong academic background, as well as one that exhibits the core values I have been taught would appeal to me. I will continue to strive to be the very best I can be both on the field and in the classroom.
