Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was 5 years old, starting with flag football and developing into a high school varsity starter. Entering into my senior year of high school, I am driven to improve my game and to become the best I can be. I train four times a week during the off-season with my high school team, and continue to train alone on the weekends to continue to better myself. During the winter, I am also a member of the varsity basketball team, which helps me remain strong and fit. From association to varsity football, I have learned to become a versatile player, maintaining a large role at the quarterback and wide receiver positions. I am known for my great field vision and my calmness under pressure ("cool as the other side of the pillow").
This year I will be a senior at Elizabeth Forward High School where I will maintain the quarterback and wide receiver positions, in which I will be looked to as an important game changer.
One thing that separates me from other players is my dedication to learning, both on and off the field. Besides football, I succeed in the classroom with a 3.5 GPA. To achieve my goals, I continue to push myself to my limits and even further. I will continue to work, train, and compete harder to overcome any obstacles that may come my way.
I will always work hard and look for greater opportunities to help me compete at the collegiate level. I am looking forward to become apart of a team that has family aspects, but will also help push me to the next level. Though football is very important to me, I am looking for a college where I can balance both sports with school, for which I intend to major in Business Law.
Thank you for your time in viewing my profile and I hope to hear from you.
