Personal Statement
My main collegiate goal is to earn my four year degree, preparing me for my life after football, but also to have the opportunity to continue to be part of a team and to play the sport that I love.
What differentiates me from other potential recruits is my ability to prioritize and focus on the specific activities needed to be successful both on and off the field of play. Whether it be arriving early at school to get the necessary gym time to improve my physical prowess, staying after school to study game film, or to seek additional help in my advanced level classes. My physical and mental training comes first; prior to the other distractions common to many students of my age.
I am a good candidate for a team as demonstrated by my leadership on the field and in the locker room. I consistently seek feedback from my coaches and teammates and implement suggestions for improvement in my play. I take a team first approach as part of my daily cadence, as the success of any team relies not on the performance of one individual, but on the cohesiveness of the unit.
