Personal Statement
As my college preparation begins, it is becoming reality that I need to find a college that will meet my academic and athletic goals. I received my Varsity Letter in football and basketball during my sophomore year of high school. I have a passion to continue to play football during college. The balance of maintaining the honor roll and being a part of a football team has taught me to be dedicated and disciplined to achieve my goals. With the help of great team work, skills, and an awesome coaching staff, we were WPIAL Football Champions in 2015 and 2016. I am an active member of my church community. I serve mass on Sundays and volunteer during the church fairs. Being the oldest of six kids, has given me the chance to be a good role model and a responsible helper within the family. During my limited free time, I have neighbors and family members that rely on me for landscaping and grass cutting jobs.
I am becoming stronger and more skilled with each season at defensive/tight end. The satisfaction of accomplishing sacks, tackles, blocking, passes and scoring two touchdowns on defense this year, drives me to want more success in football during college. I truly envision myself as a part of a college football family, as I pursue my education.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. Please contact me if I can answer any further questions.
Sincerely,
Noah Palmer
