My goals have always been to go to a D1 college and eventually go to the NFL, but that process takes a lot of willpower and motivation to do, and I believe I can do it. I have spent a lot of time thinking about the past few years of my football career and I have excelled in not only being a good player but a good teammate. I have tried to make my teammates shine as much as they can and be the best player that they can be by giving them tips from personal experience and helping them out with tackling, defensive coverages, and giving them tips with route running not only to connect with my teammates but to improve the team as a whole. As a player, I've always hated to do hitting drills against my teammates because I don't want to put them in a position to get hurt and not get the playing time and experience that they need to get to achieve their own goals. I always made it a priority to lift up and compliment my team and let them know that they are doing a good job if the coaches are not already doing it, to assist the coaches in making the team create a strong bond and succeed. With football, I've always tried to push myself to be the best player I could be, and in some instances, I have pushed myself too hard and judged myself too harshly to the point that if my team had performed poorly then I would blame myself because it felt like it was my job to make the team do the best and I always had to try my hardest. In regards to academics, they play a significant role in my life as I have not only pushed myself on the field, I have also pushed myself in the classroom. I remember many instances where I've spent hours looking at school assignments to make sure that I have done the best that I can so i can set myself up for sucess.
