Personal Statement
I'm an extremely versatile athlete on the football field, providing to be a play maker on both sides of the ball as well as an outstanding student and citizen. I partake in many service events, providing to be a strong leader, and excel in the classroom with excellence as well. So far in high school, I've earned the All-Conference award for defensive back as a sophomore (2012) and as tailback this past year as a junior (2013). The past two years I've led my team to the state quarterfinals getting closer to the goal each year. I take pride in the countless hours invested in the weight room and class room, as well as on the field. I excel as a slot receiver and tailback on offense, as well as either defensive back position, being used as needed during the past two seasons.
Along with football, I participate in track. I've reached personal bests in my events this year which are the 100 and 200 meter dash, recording times of 11.0 seconds in the 100, and a 22.7 seconds in the 200. While grinding within my sports, I also pride my leadership roles within my school. I take part in National Honor Society as well as Student Council, striving to be a top role model for younger students. With my diligence and compassionate drive to succeed, I dream to attend college, play football, and ultimately earn a degree in Physical Therapy or Medicine.
I want to be a key player on a successful team in college, looking to build great relationships with my coaches as well as my teammates. I want and look to endure a once in a lifetime opportunity while participating in the game I love. At the same time I look to achieve greatness in the classroom.
