Adam DePietro '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'4" 270lb. left tackle currently in my Junior year of High School. In addition to my size I am very athletic with quick feet posting a 4.9 40 and a 4.6 shuttle. As a freshman, I played on the Varsity team as a TE where I earned a starting position by mid-season. Our team went on to play in the state semi-finals that year. As a sophomore I was moved to starting LT where I dominated the competition. I helped lead the team to a State Championship Title. I earned a position on the All-League team as a sophomore and was named MVP OL at the NUC combine in Baltimore, MD. As a junior, I helped lead my team to a sixth straight section title. I was named the league's Outstanding offensive and defensive lineman, as well as the overall title. I was also named second team All-State offensive lineman. I was also one of the two best linemen at the New Level Lineman Challenge at Rutgers. I am a strong academic student, making distinguished Honor Roll and maintain a GPA of 3.4 while taking several honors classes. I am looking for an institution where I can play at the highest level and demonstrate to my team mates and coaches my exceptional work ethic and dedication to the sport. I would be willing to attend college in any part of the US. I am undecided on my undergraduate major at this time.
I have received verbal offers from Boston College, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, West Virginia, Michigan State, Villanova, and Yale.
