Personal Statement
I started playing football when I was ten years old and I fell in love instantly. The hard-work needed to succeed in the sport made my love for the game ironclad. A little backstory on me, when I was nine years old I weighed 148 pounds. I was a slow, short, and fat cupcake. I decided I was done living like that, and I knew I needed to make a change to my life. So In the summer of me being nine years old, I set out to lose 50 pounds by the end of summer, so I could play football. Through blood, sweat, tears, and unimaginable agony, I lost all 50 pounds, and I was eligible to play football.
The game of football has taught me that life is hard and it will throw things at you that most people wouldn’t even think about overcoming let alone trying. I am all in and have invested my life into this sport and I will never stop improving myself as a person or as a football player. I will not let anything stop me from achieving my goals. My goals for academics are to achieve honor roll and graduate with a 3.6 GPA or higher. In college my goals are to get the best possible education I can get while playing this lustrous game. I know my education will carry me even after I finish my football career. Some unique characteristics that make me stand out are long snapping, building robust creations, and learning at a very quick level.
