My name is Logan Shull and I attend Manheim Central High School. In High School I play Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. For football I am a kicker on the team. I earned first team placekicker for section 2 while also being rewarded PennLive’s All Star Honorable Mention. On the soccer team, I played left back and we qualified for the District Playoffs. I am also on the varsity team for basketball and baseball. A highlight of my junior year in sports was making Districts for football and soccer. It showed me how a team can come together and play for each other.
I am employed by Pleasant View Retirement Community in my hometown. At the nursing home, I work part time as a Dietary Service Aide. I have been working there for over a year while in school and playing sports. I have made memories with the residents and my coworkers.
In the summer I work very hard to improve my skills. For football I met all the requirements for our summer workout program last year which included all the weight points and running points. I attended team camps for our basketball team and also attended summer league games. In August we would have 3-a-days for football but I also play soccer and we had 2-a-days. So I would go to soccer in the morning, football right after, then soccer in the evening. I enjoy pushing myself in the weight room, setting goals, and hitting new maxes. I would also push my teammates to strive for their best as well. During the summer, we have a camp set up where my teammates and I would help coach younger kids and encourage them in the sport.
Around the house I have responsibilities of keeping the house tidy. I mow the yard, pull weeds, edge the beds and help with dishes. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family. They have pushed me to become a better person and have created a drive in me. I have great friends as well that I enjoy hanging out with. We fish, go on hikes, and all play sports together. I attend MBIC (Manheim Brethren In Christ) church with my family where I got baptised when I was in 6th grade.
