My name is Zion Rolon, and I am a middle linebacker at Manheim Central High School. I will graduate in 2025 and have a desire and passion to play football at the college level. I understand the importance of mind control, visualization, breathing, stretching, and goal setting, I know my purpose and my why! I have learned not to be shaken by setbacks, failure, or defeat and to use adversity to bring new opportunities and self-growth. I am disciplined in my work ethic, academics, sleep, and nutrition, and strive to stay present in everything I do.
I hold myself to a higher standard as an athlete at any level I compete. How I react to the spotlight demonstrates to others who I truly am. I do not compete or perform to please the crowds, rather, strive to please God and to show God's glory to those who are watching. I am a leader on and off the field. I lead by example and create an energy that challenges and encourages everybody else to fulfill their God-given potential.
I desire the mentorship and guidance of others who have been there before me and the opportunity to work with great coaches who will continue to cultivate my football and life skills. I am honest about my vulnerabilities, welcome corrective criticism, and willing to go the extra mile. I have learned not to take anything for granted, hold myself accountable for everything, and found my identity on and off the field.
