Personal Statement
Football has enabled me to learn many important lessons that have carried over into all aspects of my life. If you want success at anything, it requires hard work. There are no shortcuts and it takes a strong commitment. Earning the awards “Athlete of the Week” from the Observer Reporter in September 2018, and Southeastern Conference Second Team and Honorable Mention Almanac Premier Pigskin Performer as a sophomore has reinforced my belief that hard work pays off.
Football has highlighted my belief of loyalty with my teammates and family. It is a value that is very important to me. Helping others, defending them and always having their backs are some of my keys beliefs. I have played football since I have been six years old and have made lifelong friends and have had coaches that I have the utmost respect for. I have learned numerous lessons from them ranging from just something small to something significant. Football has taught me discipline, respect, teamwork, and how to deal with success and failure. With my hard work ethic and my strong belief of team, I would hold in high regard the opportunity to contribute and be part of a team at the next level.
