I was always an athlete who played multiple sports. I enjoyed baseball and basketball, but came to realize my passion is football. In the Heartland Conference, I found being able to be competitive as a junior facing such great teams was extremely motivating. Many of the players across from me on the field were already known to be continuing on with football in college.
In our football program, we have had a lot of coaching turnover which taught me to be adaptable, coachable, and soak up all the advice and lessons I could from each of them. Some may consider coaching changes a con, but I found the experience was positive. My teammates were the consistent part of the equation. This bonded our team. My current and past coaches have advised me to continue my football into the college level. They see something in me, and feel that I could be a true asset.
I enjoy being a good teammate first and foremost. I feel I am a positive person on the field and off. I’m the one who will get the team motivated. I hope to be named captain for my senior year.
Ideally, I would prefer to stay in or close to Pennsylvania, but am willing to keep my options open. I’m not positive what I want to do academically at this moment. I’m leaning toward technology.
I would love to get an opportunity to grow with the knowledge and skills a collegiate level coaching staff has to offer.
