Ever since I played for D team several years ago, I fell in love with the game and knew I wanted to play football in college. In high school, I started varsity, both ways, since I was a sophomore. I was a captain this past year, as a junior and learned a lot about leadership. My HS team overall W/L results were not great, but our team showed improvement throughout the season. I learned to always stay positive, no matter the results on the scoreboard, so I could keep my team motivated to continue working hard. My coaches tell me that I am very versatile, and they can play me in numerous positions, depending on the opponent or situation.
I played strong safety safety, outside linebacker, wide receiver, and running back during my junior year. I led the team with tackles this season. As a sophomore, I was named 2nd team All League defensive back, and as a junior, I made 1st team All League defensive back and 2nd team All League Running Back.
My high school athletic director also chose me as 1 of 4 from my class (2 males, 2 females) to attend an athletic leadership conference at Franklin and Marshall College.
