Mike Moon '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name is Mike Moon and I am a 6'1" 260 pound senior at Oil City High School.  I have a 3.77 GPA and I am 9th out of a class of 186 and I challenge myself daily at school and at sports.  I am the Treasurer of the National Honor Society and the Vice President of Senior Exec.  I am part of the Football and Track & Field teams.  I was voted Captain in both sports my Junior year and was voted Captain again this year in Football.  I play on the Offense and Defense Lines in Football and throw Shot Put, Discus and Javelin in Track & Field. 
I am very commited to Football, I work hard in the weight room during the off season and continue to push myself during the season on and off the field. I have played Varsity Football for the last 4 years.  Last year I earned 1st team All Region Offense and 2nd team All Region Defense.  I have competed the last two years in Discus at the State Track & Field Meet and was awarded All Region Athlete of the Year.  My forty time is 5.2 and my pro agility shuttle is 4.83.  In the weight room my bench is 305, powerclean is 265, squat is 535 and my deadlift is 565. 
I want to attend a college that will challenge me athletically and academically,  and I am looking forward to the challenge of playing Football at the next level.  I plan to major in Engineering and would like to find a school that has a good reputation in this major.
