Jelani Calloway '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing football since I was six years old, the past eleven years have given me the most experience to shift my goals and aspirations for my future self and the player I want to become for my fellow teammates. The goals I have set for myself are to become a better leader for my team and encourage not only myself but my fellow teammates to evolve as both players and people. My teammates rely on me to make big plays and to motivate them to keep focus during each game. As a lead I want to set an example for each player to push themselves to be better than they already are. I’m different from my other peers because I strive to be better than the person I was yesterday, I want to keep developing the necessary skills and show not only myself but others that I can grow and learn through every experience I have. By pushing myself to be better and my eagerness to succeed, my compassion and dedication to the game and to my teammates will show.
