Personal Statement

My name is Daniel Cirino. I am currently a junior at Pope John Paul II High School located in Royersford, Pennsylvania and I will be graduating in 2018. I am a three (3) Sport Athlete participating in Football, Basketball and Baseball. I have been a varsity starter on the Football team since Freshman year and I have earned All League honors in both my Sophomore and Junior seasons. I am considered a versatile player,  as I play Wide Receiver ( led the team in receptions past 2 seasons and TD's last season) and Running Back on the offensive side of the ball.  On defense, I have been the starting Safety since my Sophomore season and I have been a leading tackler on our team in both my Sophomore and Junior seasons. I am also a key Special Teams contributor, as I have been returning punts for the past two years. As I mentioned earlier, I am a multi sport athlete and I am the starting Guard for the Basketball team at PJP ii and I have played both Sophomore and Junior season as a Varsity. player.  On the Baseball team,  I am the Starting Left Fielder and the three hole hitter on PJP's Varsity team.  Academically, I rank in the top 20% of my class of over 225 students and I am looking forward to continuing my athletic career at the collegiate level. I am a hard working person and I will continue to work hard to achieve my goal to become a Scholar Athlete at the Collegiate Level. I am certain that my versatility on the Football field can be a real asset to any program as I have been a "Two way" Starter for my entire High School career. I really enjoy the challenge of competing in all sports and being a three (3 )sport athlete in High School as I get the opportunity to compete at a high level throughout the year which I really enjoy.
