Personal Statement
It has always been a dream of mine to play college football. My best quality as an athlete is that I am versatile; I have played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, stand-up defensive end/outside linebacker, inside linebacker, strong safety, free safety, and even cornerback. I pride myself on being a leader and a problem solver. Whether it was running extra after practice, or training with my team in the weight room in the offseason, I was always doing it what it took to get me and my team better. Quarterbacks set the tone of the offense. I try to keep things up-beat and focused. The element of leadership that I have improved the most upon is expressing to my team and myself to not dwell on mistakes because things will not always go the way you want them to; it is how you come back. Academically I have always challenged myself taking AP and Honors courses. The old adage "you get what you put into it" has resonated throughout my life by way of not only football, but school as well.
