My name is Elyjah Lipscomb. I am a Senior at AC Flora High School in Columbia, SC. I play Defensive End, Tackle and Special Teams. I am 6'4" and I weight 240 lbs. I have a 3.959 grade point average. I have experience in playing in a three man and four man fronts. I do speed/ agility work outs and weight lift 3 times a week to increase my strength and speed.
Other than football, I am also on the school's wrestling team. I was one of three which made it to the Upper State Wrestling Finals and was the only wrestler to place in my Sophomore school year. Then in the Junior school year I ranked 6th in the State 220 Weight Class, was an Upper State Regional Finalist and was recognized as a 2015 SC Midlands Wrestling State Championship Qualifier Class 3A 220 Weight Class. I am also the Lead Tenor for Vocal Production and have made District Honor Choir for the second time. Some other accolades and accomplishments are 2012-2013 South Carolina Junior Scholar, 2016 Palmetto Boys State Participant, selected as a 2017 Palmetto Boys State Counselor, National Society of High School Scholars Recipient and the George Sink P.A. Scholar Athlete of the Week.
In addition to going to college for football I want to major in a degree dealing with Computer Technology/ Robotics. I also want to continue singing because it is something I am passionate about. I respect and trust my coaches and teammates because they are my extended family. I am dedicated to my team, this sport and my future.
