Personal Statement
Greetings to all who visit my page! My name is Darius Andre Dixon, I am a defensive lineman at Ridge View High School located in Columbia the capital of city of South Carolina. I have had the opportunity to play football in Gwinnett County Georgia with South Gwinnett Football Association and the national ranked Gwinnett Chargers! Football is a core part of who I am and I have a desire to play at the next level.
For me football leveled the playing field where academic, economic, or social difference doesn´t matter. I have learned so much from football, how to be a leader amongst leaders and how to follow as a collective group. I have won so many battles on the gridiron that has developed me socially, mentally, and physically. Football has been therapy for my family in that it brings us closer.
One of my goals in life is to become a physical therapist and provide help to others. I am a person who enjoys helping others and making situations better. I am hard working, loyal, and a dedicated student athlete that continues to improve my personal best. Football is a great game and it is my intentional purpose to maximize my opportunities through the game of football.
