Will Kibler '10 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to help a football program win championships. I believe my punting and placekicking abilities will be an asset to any football team. I earned All-Area punter/kicker honors in December 2009, which included all high schools in the western Upstate of South Carolina. I was selected All-Region punter/kicker in South Carolina Western AAA both my junior and senior seasons. My punting hang time averaged 4.2 seconds in the 2009 season, with several punts above 4.65 seconds. My career punting average is slightly above 40 yards. I have 42 varsity starts (four years)as a place kicker, during which I set five B-HP school records, including highest career accuracy and highest single season accuracy. I hit 7 of 8 fields goals in 2009, with a long of 40 yards. I was successful on 37 of 38 PATS. I set eight school punting and kicking records, and was awarded team Specialist of the Year. In the playoffs of my senior season, I was named the Hardees Player of the Game in my high school's win over Eastside High School. I continue to compete nationally and won the punting championship at the Chris Sailer Summer Nike Atlanta Camp in 2009, and the Chris Sailer Fall Nike Camp in Atlanta on December 6, 2009. I was also a semi-finalist at the Chris Sailer Nike North Carolina Camp in November. My sophomore season I was awarded the Jimmy Outz Courage Award at my high school. My current GPA is 3.658. I am taking the SAT and the ACT in December 2009. I am an Eagle Scout and belong to the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Throughout my life I have been active in church activities and community service activities, including work for the Honea Path Free Clinic, a not-for-profit health care clinic in our small town. My highest goal is to graduate from college with an excellent education. Close behind, I would like to help a competitive football team be successful. I believe that I would be an asset to any college program due to my solid skills, work ethic and game experience.
