Personal Statement
As I finish up my senior year of football and approach my wrestling season, I am most proud of the leadership skills i have learned while being captain of the football team for two consecutive years. I have learned to be a motivator for other athletes on my team and to help promote their strengths on and off the field. I have also learned what it takes to be part of a team that no matter what, we are champions. Some of my greatest accomplishments during my athletic career are becoming a varsity football player my freshman year and a varsity wrestler my seventh grade year, qualifying for state wrestling tournament since I was a freshman and a state placer my junior year. Another accomplishment was averaging 700 plus rushing yards since my sophomore year and scoring an average of 3 touchdowns per game my senior year. I have always taken pride in being a good student as well as being a good athlete. I am one of the top 15% in my class and look forward to continuing my education by becoming an athletic trainer. My goal is to help athletes become better in their skills and others to become more physically fit. I enjoy spending my spare time in the gym to become stronger and to stay fit for the sports that I participate in. I have enjoyed helping people in my community with moving projects, fundraisers, and benefits.
