Charlie Prien '23 Recruiting Profile

Football has been a love of mine since I was old enough to hold one. It became a passion of mine from the first time I hit the field in 3rd grade. I had the privilege of playing through my elementary years, junior high, a club team and 6 – All Star All American games throughout the United States.  In my current freshman season, my high school team was ranked #3 in class 11B in the state, losing a heartbreaker in the second round of the playoffs. I am grateful to play with a great team, however, I am humbled to continue to improve all of my skills to become a better football player, leader, teammate, and most of all a leader in the classroom academically.

My postsecondary goals are to study communications, maintain a high level of academic and athletic achievements and continue to participate and volunteer in community functions. Playing at the next level in football has always been a goal that I continue to chase. I feel blessed to besurrounded by a great support staff of coaches, teammates, family, and friends as I pursue my devotion to the game of football.
