Personal Statement
I am currently a Junior at O’Gorman High School, formerly at St Thomas More High School, where I have attained a 3.8 cumulative GPA under rigorous curriculums. I am a part of advanced classes and AP classes including Advanced English for two years, Advanced Algebra I, Advanced Algebra II, Advanced Geometry, Advanced Chemistry, Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry, and AP English. Over the past four years, starting in eighth grade, I have donated over 250 hours of service into the community, volunteering at the school, feeding the homeless, Feeding South Dakota, Packing Hope, and the Salvation Army. I have helped lead my team to a Conference Championship and now into the State A Playoffs. I have been able to be put into the position of leadership on my team because of my leadership skills, strength, size, and desire to win. Since the winter of my eighth grade year, I have been a part of an athletic development program that has helped me become bigger, faster, and stronger than almost all of my competitors. It has not only helped me grow physically, but also mentally. I know that even if someone is bigger or faster than me, I will outwork them. I believe I will be a great addition to any team because of my passion for the game and my drive of becoming the best my team and I can possibly be.
