Personal Statement
Since I put on my football helmet for the first time as a PeeWee when I was six, I have been hooked. I love the sport and all that it offers and requires; from physical and mental toughness to emotional highs and lows. Even bigger than the sport is the friendships formed because of it. My football teammates have always been family to me.
I am a self-motivated hard-worker. I spend my weekends opening my local Sonic as a shift leader at 5:30am. I've worked there since I was 15. I also spend my free time volunteering as well as training in the gym. My off-season goals are to get bigger & stronger for my Senior season. I take honors classes as well as advanced-placement courses in school and maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA in addition to my extracurricular activity, such as volunteering in my community & at church. I am a team leader and am dedicated to being an example for my teammates. I regularly work with Freshman athletes on their weight training.
