Personal Statement
My name is Hayden Gibson. I am currently a Sophomore at Walker Valley High School in Cleveland TN. My current GPA is 3.00 and I have never been in any kind of disciplinary trouble while in school or out of school.
Football has been my 2nd love every since I was 4 years of age. (my first love is God). I love this sport and I put my heart into it every time I'm on the field, whether its practice or a game. I have played both sides of the ball every year since I started flag football. Even as a freshman in high school I have been playing varsity.
My goal is to further my education in college and be able to play football while in college. I know that I want a future in forestry law and being able to conserve our water ways. In order to reach that goal, I need a college education.
However, on my way to achieve that goal, I could never imagine my future without football being in it.
I know I would make a great candidate for any team because I have a great work ethic, I get along with others, I can take criticism and push my self to be a great man, on and off the field. I am a quick learner and I have a heart for football as well as my team. I am a respectful person as I believe in having my coaches and teams back at all times. I am more than willing to dedicate my time to my studies and football, too.
I work part time and due to my character and honesty, I have been promoted and have only been there 3 months. I pride myself on being a man of my word and having great character on and off the field. I strive to help others around me be better men as well. I am always trying to help lift players spirits before going on the field in order to give it all we’ve got and loving it while we do.
I strive to make the best grades possible so that I can reach my goals for my future.
I am grateful for football and all it has taught me. It has taught me the value of hard work and a drive that will push me on into adulthood.
