My strongest trait is perseverance. There are two areas I would like to highlight.
Academically, I’ve struggled and for the longest time didn’t know why. As a junior, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Following that diagnosis, I’ve worked to alter not only my participation in class but also my preparation. The result has been an increase in my GPA from a 1.6 to a 2.7. I’m still continuing to improve.
The second area is physically. In October of last year, I suffered a knee injury in practice that result in surgery. After surgery and rehab, I’m back on the field and ready to finish out my senior season.
My long term goal is to obtain a degree in either computer science or law enforcement.
