Layden Grant '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Layden Grant. I am a 5'10 185lb Football Player. During my High School Career I was blessed to start at Middle Linebacker/Safety since my first varsity game my freshman year. I have been awarded the hit stick 6 times in my 2 seasons of varsity play along with defensive player of the week 3 times. My Freshman season (2019-2020) we had a record of 8-3 winning the region but losing in the first round of the playoffs. My Sophomore season (2020-2021) we had a record of 7-3 with the number 2 spot in the region but losing in the first round again. In my junior season i had a standout year. i was awarded MVP of my team, 1st team all region, 1st team all state, 1st team all area, 4 time farm bureau player of the game, 3 time defense player of the game and 3 time offensive player of the game along with getting the hit stick 4 times. My main attributes are my work ethic, strength, competitiveness, leadership and my desire to win. I love the physical contact that football has to offer. I am a person that is strong in my faith and I have good moral character. I know that I will be a great asset and leader to the right School's football program and overall community.
