My name is Maddux Lambert, a wide receiver in the class of 2022, and I have a dream of playing college football one day. For the sophomore class in the state of Tennessee, I led all divisions in receptions with 51, and 3rd in receiving yards with 653. In my junior season, I tallied 53 receptions for 505 yards. I have been a three sport athlete until my Sophomore year, when I decided to devote some off-season time to work on gaining strength and speed. I now run track as well as play football, with plans to participate in the decathlon this spring. My parents have always taught me that academics come first, and although I am proud of my football accomplishments as a wide receiver, meeting my academic goal of earning above a 3.5 GPA each semester is priority.
My future aspirations are to earn a college degree, while having the opportunity to play college football and to make an impact on that team. I believe that my work ethic, character, and eagerness to be coached are traits that will help me succeed on the field and in the classroom.
