Transferring back to my hometown after a rough Freshman year is what really set it off for me. I knew whenever I got back home that I was going to make a difference both academically and athletically. It really made me reflect, and self evaluate my goals and ambitions to follow out my dreams in playing the sport I loved most. From that moment on I have dedicated and invested myself into becoming the best player and student that would benefit the team and my peers.
I was fortunate enough to be eligible my sophomore season. I started both ways, and the team had a average year. After the season I knew I was going to have to step it up, and make more sacrifices if I was wanting better results for the future. My junior season I took on a bigger role as a leader both in the classroom and on the team. The team and myself had an excellent season. I managed to be selected on the All-Regional and All-District Teams, only playing 7 out of the 12 games, due to a leg injury. I believe that I possess the traits to make a lasting impact on your program. I’m always striving to learn more about building my character, leadership skills, and furthering my athletic skills. With my work ethic and faith in the team I know I can be a positive player and leader on your team!
