Personal Statement
I have been working hard to improve my technique and snapping times. I have been ranked among the top 25 in the Nation through Kohl's Kicking camp and recently placed first in a regional long snapping competition. Having the opportunity to play football at a top level while getting a degree in business would be a dream come true. I am extremely interested in the world of marketing and advertising, but also am intrigued about careers in sports management. My immediate aspirations would be to play football while earning an invaluable degree in business and then move into a graduate assistant role on the team while earning my Masters in Sports Management.
I would be an excellent candidate for a collegiate team because I understand the work, dedication and determination it takes to be a student athlete. My commitment to my grades is just as important as my commitment to the work I have to do on the field. I know that success requires hard work and that drives me to do more. My enthusiasm for practicing and lifting weights offers some evidence of my desire to get better everyday. I am committed to be at practice no matter the condition and give more than my best every day. I have the opportunity to practice snapping to college punters and kickers before and am consistently seeking opportunities to attend any specialist camps that can improve my technique, provide advice from experienced individuals, and offer me some much needed visibility by numerous colleges.
I am not just involved with school and football, I have recently finished my Eagle Scout project for Boy Scouts. I am also involved with my church youth group and referee basketball in my spare time. If you are looking for a individual who will do everything and more to achieve my dream, I would love the opportunity to speak to you and learn about how your college could help me do this.
