I hope to obtain a scholarship so I can continue to play the game of football. I started playing when I was five and want to play as long as I can. I love playing and studying the game. It's where I feel the most alive. I have learned a lot of life lessons through football. My dad coached me when I was in elementary school. He taught me the importance of being a coachable player, and to always look for ways to improve. It doesn't matter if you have all the talent in the world, if you aren't working harder than the best guy on the field and striving to be better, you won't achieve your goals. Determination, digging deep when the going gets tough, and standing strong when adversity stares you in the face are a few lessons the game has taught me. When you think you can't go one more step, I've learned that I can go 10 more. Those skills have helped me achieve the goal of being a student athlete. I am taking honors and AP classes my junior and senior year because I've realized I need to push myself harder academically. With the skills God has given me, the lessons the game has taught me, and the support that surrounds me, I believe there is a college out there that will provide me with the opportunity to continue to play the greatest game on earth.
