My name is Hayden Ferrari. I am a 17 years old and will graduate in May of 2015.
I just completed my senior year of football. As one of the team captains this past season, I started at outside linebacker and at times played a scrapper/defensive end type position, inside linebacker, full back and special teams. I was a top leading tackler on the team, 2 forced fumbles, 1 interception, 10 sacks, 1 touchdown at fullback, and 2 receptions for first downs on fake punts.
As my senior year ends, I look back on a wonderful season. This years adversity taught me many lessons and the experience gained was invaluable. Although my team did not do as well as we were hoping to, I reached several of my personal goals. I will miss my teammates but will cherish the memories. My focus this fall and spring will be to work very hard in the weight room as well as speed training and conditioning. I am looking forward to visiting numerous of colleges between now and signing day!
Academically, I am an Honors student at Christian Brothers High School. I have a 3.64/4.0 cumulative GPA. I work hard in school and enjoy learning, especially science and math classes. I hope to become an engineer or wildlife biologist after college. I am involved in multiple school organizations, a student ambassador, and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society.
I have played contact football since I was 5 years old. Football is my life. My dad started me early and coached me so I could have a chance at what he did, play College Football. I worked my whole life for this and it is something I really cherish and hope that happens. In addition to football, I play lacrosse in the offseason. I have played lacrosse for the past 7 years. This past year I started on our varsity lacrosse team at the attack position. I enjoy lacrosse, it is extremely fun to play, and it also keeps me in shape for the upcoming football season.
