My name is Aaron Crigger. I am a hard working, very quick learner. I am very bright and very athletic. I have great leadership skills and have lead many activities at my school and in my youth group. I have always had a passion for sports, but especially the game of football. It is unlike any other sport and has it's own uniqueness. I love playing it. I remember my greatest memory from football, which was my first time playing my sixth grade year. I never imagined that football would shape my life so much and make me grow into such a great man. Regardless of my size, I've always out-worked and hit harder than guys bigger than me. People thought that since I was not 6 feet tall that I could not become a great linebacker, much less a good football player. I wanted to prove people it is not about physical appearance, such as size, but about the will and mental strength to work harder than my opponents. I have accomplished that and much more. My junior year I received the most tackles on my team and in my district, my team considered me the "quarterback of the defense", and I received an award for the all-district 1st team. Now, my senior year I am a captain on the team. My goals are to play at the next level, work harder in the weight room and in the classroom than others, and have a great mentality towards everything.
