Walker Rice '22 Recruiting Profile

When I was four years old, I started karate later switching to Tae Kwon Do. By age nine I earned a second-degree black belt. My participation in Tae Kwon Do helped me learn discipline and to effectively use my body.

My first football season was in 4^th grade. Our team wasn’t successful, losing every game. I was not a part of a winning season until my freshmen year of high school. Through this, I learned the importance of approaching every down like the score is still 0-0 and winning whatever assignment I have on a given play.

Academically, I maintain that same competitive attitude. As a junior, I am currently taking 4 AP courses with a goal of earning college credit in high school. In college, I plan on earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering, then going on to Law School. I hope to play for a program that will develop my skills as a player as well as help me achieve these academic goals.
