Personal Statement
After winning two back-to-back MVP trophies my eighth grade and freshman year, plus going undefeated both years; my passion for this sport increased. I had the pleasure of dressing out with varsity as a freshman and moving into a starting position as a sophomore. My goal is to attend a four year university, where I can expand my horizons in the game of footbal and academic knowledge.
I possess great strengths, courage, durability, and honesty. Before the start of my junior year, I had a shoulder injury. This injury got my junior season off to a slow start, but I soon bounced back. This experience helped me to look at adversity as a chance to grow and focus more on my mental and physical toughness. I possess a strong work ethic that has always never went unnoticed. This work ethic helps me to stand out amongst other recruits.
I am fortunate to be known as power running back (not afraid of contact), being awarded all-district my sophomore and junior year. I have learned what it means to be a leader and the value of teamwork, commitment, and sacrifice. Being a three-sport athlete, I believe my work-ethic, character, and leadership skills will make a direct impact on your program!
