I became interested in sports at a very young age. Moving from Michigan to Tennessee was my biggest obstacle as I had to change schools, make new friends and learn how to fit in at the age of seven. This is when I found sports. Entering grade school I was a four sport youth athlete involved in football, baseball, basketball as well as track. I love being on a team and being active. I was able to excel in all sports through middle school but football has become the sport that I am most accomplished in. As an 8th grader I was able to lead my team to a county championship and becoming All-County.
As an elite middle school athlete it did not come as a surprise when the High School Varsity coach approached me asking if I wanted to be moved up only after a few practices on the freshman team. This was one of the most important decisions that I had to make yet. One on hand; Do I go on the freshman team and get incredible film highlights and stats or do I go on varsity; start on special teams and gain knowledge to get me prepared for my high school career? I chose the latter. Not only did I learn plays and teamwork, I gained an incredible amount of knowledge. My sophomore year while others my age were just learning the dynamics of the JV and Varsity teams, I was learning the qualities of leadership. My senior season I was the captain of the varsity team thus signing with Murray State in February 2019 and after being in camp for a while decided that the school wasn't a good fit for me. I want to reinsert myself at the college level while gaining experience and contributing to your team . I was at Minnesota State Junior College. The season was canceled therefore a sophomore in college at UT Chat taking classes and hoping for a walk on opportunity. Due to the portal and transferring challenges I moved back close to home and attending Tennessee Sate University. Academically I am a sophomore and have all my years of eligibility. Currently I have a 3.75 GPA. With my drive, determination and work-ethic I will be a great asset.
