Christopher Birch...Personal Statement
I am fortunate to play football at a small high school and because of that was asked to step into a position that doesn't necessarily match my size. My parents have always encouraged me to perform at my best and to not let others judge me on appearance but on actions and delivery. I step up to each opportunity and am seen as a team leader. As a sophomore, I earned a starting position on the offensive line, competing against players bigger and stronger. I have set aggressive goals and demonstrated dedication, focus and hard work to exceed. I listen to coaching and apply immediately. I want to continue with sports in college while preparing for my career in Construction Management.
