Personal Statement
I've been playing tackle football since 6th grade. It is my first love, followed by track. Football has taught me so many things like how to forget about your mistake and just do it right the next time, leadership, communication, and the importance of your family, coaches, and teammates. The thing I love most about football is the brotherhood aspect of it, you and your teammates and togetherness. I have a great football IQ. I am a student of the game. I am the defensive leader for my football team.
My academic standards are very high and I strive to be the top in my class. I am well rounded participating in church and ROTC/community service. I balance my sports, my honors classes and AP classes and athletics. I take 4 AP classes each semester.
I participate in football, track, and MCJROTC. I am a 1st Degree Black belt in Kuk Sool Won which is a traditional Korean martial arts.
I transferred high schools for my 11th grade year. I had to play on the JV team according to the Texas UIL even though I made varsity as a 10th grader. I transferred schools for the ROTC program and academic reasons. I learned from my ROTC instructor PRNS, positive response to a negative situation. I played hard, worked out, studied football, excelled in ROTC, and concentrated on my AP classes.
