Growing up in a family of four kids, I have always wanted to go to college. Attending college wasn’t an option. It was my priority and still is to this day. I’ve dreamed of becoming a coach or maybe entering the medical field and college is necessary for both of those careers.
The only thing that could make my dream any better is having the opportunity to play sports at the collegiate level. Sports have been a pivotal part of my life since the passing of my father. I played soccer at a young age. There I developed a love for competition and being part of a team. However, I had to stop playing soccer as a result of moving to be closer to family. So I started football in junior high. Playing football is my favorite thing in the world. It gives me a chance to strengthen relationships and compete with others.
Although football is my favorite thing, I still play other sports and enjoy the simple things that most other kids do. I also play basketball, baseball golf, run track, and pole vault. I love going to church and I am a member on the youth leadership team there. I spend lots of time with my friends. I like to swim and go bowling.
As a high school athlete my goals are to take my team to a state championship and pursue football at the collegiate level.
