As I was growing up, I was never in a football family. So much so that I didn't even watch an entire football game until I played in my first one. I started playing football in 7th grade to make friends but quickly developed a love for the intricate workings of the game. I feel that I can also attribute my love for the game to my long string of coaches who simultaneously pushed me to be the best I could be while taking the time to get to know me as a person and not just as a player. I would like to play football for as long as possible into and past the collegiate level. I feel like I have the necessary skills to go far and have learned how to be a leader, and even more importantly, a follower.
