Alexander Julian '18 Recruiting Profile

  I have been playing football since the age of 8 years old and it really has become more than just a game to me. I am focused on improving my game by working every day with coaches both in school and after hours. My goal has always been to play at the collegiate level and my dream is to play Division 1. I am a very motivated football player and when I step on the field nothing else matters. I am going to do my job and play as hard as I can for my team.

  One thing I bring to the team is that I'm coachable and always trying to learn new skills. There are a few things that makes me different from everyone else. One is my versatility. If a coach puts me at a position I am quick to learn it. I've played every position from quarterback to running back to free safety. When they need a play made on either offense or defense I'm there to do it. Everything I do is a competition to me and I really think that helps me on the field.

    I also know how crucial grades are in the recruiting process so in the classroom I am focused on my work. I went to a magnet middle school for International Studies and Law, and took AP classes freshman year.  I maintained honor roll status from elementary through Freshman year. I went through some major transition in my family life during the past two years but am re-focused and have earned high grades so far during my senior year. I am committed to bringing my grades up and doing what it takes to succeed at the college level.
