Personal Statement
MY MOST RECENT SENIOR HIGHLIGHTS CAN BE FOUND AT http://www.hudl.com/athlete/193112/.
I am very excited about the opportunity to pursue my football career at the next level. As a coach's kid, I have been around the game and on the field for the last 13 years. I know first hand the amount of hardwork and dedication it takes to be successful in a program. I have been a part of my dad's 9 district championships, 5 quarterfinal appearances, 3 state semi-finals, and 2 state championship games in some way, shape or form. From water boy, to ball boy to quarterback, I truly have seen and experienced what it takes to become a champion. The desire to succeed is something I continue to work towards everyday. One of the most important things that I can offer a team is my outstanding leadership, on and off the field. I believe that leadership is the most important key to success. Without leadership a team is unbalanced and does not function properly. I want to bring leadership to whatever program I become a part of on the field, and be a role model for others in the classroom. I have always been taught that my classroom performance is just as important as my field performance. I am a member of my school's National Honor Society, and began taking dual-credit classes at a community college the summer following my sophomore year. I am currently in my senior year. I am 6'0 and weigh 210 pounds. I think my strongest strength as a quarterback is how I manuever in and out of the pocket well. I have very good footwork and I have a quick release. My size and strength is also a huge benefit. It helps me make the big plays when they are needed the most. My most important accomplishments would have to be starting as a sophomore and leading my team all the way to the quarterfinals that year and during my senior year. I was also honored when I was awarded the MVP Leadership award at a national underclassmen combine the summer of my sophomore year. My choices for schools I'm interested in are wide open. I do not have any particular college I wish to attend at this time. Any college with a football program who is looking for a good leader could be the right college for me. I am looking to major in something in the area of business administration. I love communicating and working with others and I hope to find a job that best suits me in this area. Right now I'm looking along the lines of athletic sales and marketing. I think it would be awesome to work with different schools and coaches, learn about their traditions, and offer them the best customer service I can while doing the best job I can working for whatever company I may be working for. My athletic goals are to be the best I can be in any program. I want to lead my team to victory no matter what. I truly hope to have the opportunity to be a part of a football program at the next level. I will do whatever it takes to attend a college or university where I can help my team achieve a winning season.
