I am a 5'8 Defensive Back who's primary position is Free Safety but i also play strong Safety and Outside-Linebacker. This 2017-2018 season was my first year playing varsity football for the Cypress Springs Panthers. I have a 3.4 GPA and just took the ACT in February where I had a composite score of 19. I also took my first SAT on the 5th of May and score a 1030 (530 Math and 510 Verbal). Ive recently retaken my SAT on the 25th of August and will stay up to date with the scores when they're released.
I was born in Houston, Texas and have lived here for the past 17 years of my life. I live with both my parents who were both born and raised in West Africa themselves. Aside from being a student-athlete, having parents who were brought up through numerous amounts of civil wars and with such little opportunity gives me a reason to make my education a priority. They teach me to never take my education for granted and often remind me of what they could've been if they were able to afford education because it can make or break someones future.
What i look for in a university is a strong engineering program and one that also offers kinesiology. I would find myself most comfortable at a school that is urban, in a big city, with a large student-body. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where i can either make an impact on the team OR adapt and prove that when my name is called i can be the next man up. I see myself as a competitive athlete. I do enjoy competing in the weight room, for spots on a roster, and against other teams in general and even through all the competition i know how to stay disciplined and control my emotions. I believe i would best fit at he DII level. My goal, and the highest I see myself playing at, is DI-AA however, I'd definitely consider high academic DIII opportunities.
