Preston Beason '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals would be that, I want to have the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a physical therapist and hopes of a internship to the nearest hospital. So that I could start getting into the hospital atmosphere. I've been raised to never give up on anything that I have started and to push through ever muddy spots in life, even when you feel like the world is telling you to stop, I just keep pushing through, because in the end I know that not only will I be physically stronger, but  mentally stronger as well. This is what makes me different from any other athlete that will cross your path. I don't know how to compare myself to other people in my academic setting because I've struggled my whole life with dyslexia, but I never let that stop me from striving to be among the top achievers of my graduating class. I am still working hard to move up higher in the class rankings. So I would say the thing to separate me from other athletes in the academic setting would be,  I wont let my disadvantages stop me from striving to be excellent in the classroom.
